My name is Carmen Smith and I am the president of the Newport Beach Arts Foundation. A friend just sent me this beautiful image of Sphere 112 by Ivan McLean. I was acutely interested because the Foundation recently purchased Sphere 112 and is giving it to the City of Newport Beach. On Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. the Newport Beach Arts Foundation will be holding a Dedication of “Sphere 112.” This means that the piece will not leave the Civic Center Park.
